Mountain State University has you covered with a whole suite of career-launching tools from OptimalResume.

To get started now: http://mountainstate.optimalresume.com, choose “New Users Click Here” option in the Login box, located on the left side of the website page. Please enter your Mountain State email address and click "Continue" to create an account. An email with a random code will be sent to your msucougar.org, validating your registration and allowing access into the OptimalResume system. At this point you may either click the link provided in the email or paste the Random Code into the appropriate box on the website.

Job Search & Speed Networking Event

Speed networking is an exciting and entertaining career search activity that allows employers to meet, and briefly interview, a large number of job candidates. Students “speed-network” with employers in a series of fun and fast-paced meetings, lasting only 3-minutes. When the 3-minute time limit is up, a loud sport whistle signals students to move on to the next company representative. All participants are encouraged to continue discussions, or follow-up at a later date, with their new contacts after the speed networking session.

Last year, over a 100 students attended the event with 19 representatives from a diverse range of employers, 28 students were selected for a job/practicum interview, and 18 received offers of employment!
